• Worked in nonprofit and association management.
• Community involvement; Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, church, and governmental committees.
• My wife Darlene and I live in Palmyra VA and have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren.

• Working knowledge of organizational governance.
• Working knowledge of budgets and association management. 
• Working with other board members as a team, listening to their opinions and ideas.
• Having open communication.
• Making decisions after I have all the available information.

  I want to continue to have an impact in Kiwanis by what I learned while serving as Governor during COVID:

• Looking at innovative methods for clubs to do what Kiwanis does best: serving the children, community and its members. 
• Developing different approaches to deliver our message. 
• Listening to the issues, ask questions, and find everyday solutions.
• Learning as much as I can about how to enact change.

• Having an open line of communications with members and my assigned District Governors.
• Helping them know the resources available.
• Working with my fellow trustees to make sound board decisions that are best for Kiwanis.
